Job Description

You will report directly into the Director of Engineering and have the opportunity to:

  • Programming CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software to support prototype and production machining
  • Reviewing engineering prints and translating specifications into machining strategies
  • Developing, testing, and refining machining programs to ensure accurate part function
  • Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing process improvements
  • Collaborating with operations, engineering, and leadership to support production readiness
  • Supporting prototyping efforts and validating manufacturability prior to scaling
  • Maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Experience programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering prints and dimensional requirements
  • Demonstrated experience creating prototypes and refining machining programs
  • Background in precision manufacturing; firearms or metal components preferred but not required
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort working in fast‑moving production environments
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple supervisors
