Senior Procurement Manager - Steel

• Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and processes for steel sourcing that align with overall business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and sourcing opportunities in the steel industry.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and supply chain reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance, to forecast steel requirements and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary to enhance supplier relationships and material quality.
• Lead initiatives for cost savings and value optimization within the procurement process, tracking key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, sustainability practices, and advancements in procurement strategies.
• Mentor and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
