About Our Client

A leading renewable energy company that has coverage across the US for Utility-scale solar and wind projects. With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to grow their Development team. They have deep experience in multiple markets including MISO, PJM, ERCOT, NYISO, and ISO-NE markets.

Job Description

The Senior Project Developer will be responsible for:

  • Help identify new greenfield renewable energy and energy storage project opportunities, including market assessments and fatal flaw identification
  • First point of contract by preforming community outreach and other stakeholder management activities
  • Assist the generator interconnection process to secure interconnection and transmission rights from transmission owners and ISOs
  • Manage all aspects of the project life-cycle from start to finish
  • Responsible for origination and support of the company's utility-scale solar projects in the US
  • Effectively work with existing Development team on Utility-scale projects
  • Acquire real estate rights for development opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with external and local stakeholders
  • Direct resource management processes and output estimates
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses
  • Own the project development budget

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
  • 4-7 years experience within the renewable industry
  • Exposure to utility-scale projects is ideal
  • Well-rounded project management experience
  • Open to travel 25%
