Job Description

This Senior Project Engineer will:

  • Manage project efforts to secure FAA approval for assigned hardware.
  • Develop technical drawings, perform measurements, and lead material evaluations.
  • Conduct data and structural analysis and prepare design substantiation packages.
  • Support manufacturing development, hardware conformity, and customer evaluation activities.
  • Develop and execute supplier qualification and substantiation plans.
  • Support production processes and troubleshoot engineering issues.
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant OEM design engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including investment casting.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials, coatings, and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5M).
  • Working knowledge of FAA FARs.
  • Experience with FEM analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with SolidWorks and PCDMIS preferred.
