My client is an established general contractor located in downtown Chicago. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager that has experience managing commercial, finanical, technology, tenant interiors, healthcare, and life sciences projects.

Job Description

  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Oversee a team of project managers
  • Meet weekly and communicate daily with construction staff
  • Assess project progress, schedule, changes, and deliveries
  • Ensure safety at all times
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Customers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

The Successful Applicant

  • 10 - 15+ years of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Experience in design/build is a must
  • Experience working with software and technology
  • Strong Communication and Organization Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology
