About Our Client

Our client is a Georgia-based, nation wide firm that specializes in the construction and management of mission critical data centers. They are dedicated to bringing the latest technology and innovation to every project, giving their clients an edge in the market. With a rapidly growing pipeline, they are expanding their construction team starting with a Senior Project Manager.

Job Description

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, MEP coordinators, and subcontractors, to achieve project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee procurement processes, negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company safety protocols.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, including scope changes, delays, or resource constraints, with proactive solutions.
  • Facilitate project closeout, including commissioning, punch list completion, and final documentation handover to clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in data center or mission-critical construction.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects valued at $80M+ from start to finish.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project).
  • Deep understanding of data center construction, including MEP systems, power redundancy, cooling solutions, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting costs, and optimizing project profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build client relationships.
  • Must be flexible for travel to project sites.
