Job Description

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are kept within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, effectively communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize project efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and specifications, conducting regular site inspections.
  • Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract administration, including reviewing agreements, negotiating terms, and managing changes or disputes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Progress Reporting: Track and report on project progress, providing updates to executives and stakeholders as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Must have experience successfully leading the construction of ground up, food and beverage manufacturing facilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing large teams including subcontractors
  • Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines, project execution, delivery in a design and construction.
