Job Description

My client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Eagle River, Wisconsin office. The role focuses on both residential and commercial projects, ranging from $100,000 to $20 million in value. The successful candidate will be involved in various stages of construction projects, including:

  • Supporting sales and business development efforts
  • Contributing to project estimation and bidding processes
  • Creating and managing individual project schedules
  • Coordinating overall project timelines to optimize resource allocation
  • Assigning staff for in-house trade work on a weekly basis
  • Overseeing project finances and profitability forecasts
  • Maintaining positive client relationships and meeting owner expectations throughout project lifecycles

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role should excel in problem-solving, communication, organization, and relationship-building. Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and cost management is crucial. The position requires at least 5 years of experience in construction project management, field engineering, or estimating. A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is advantageous, as is experience with high-end residential projects. Familiarity with all construction phases is necessary. Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, on-screen takeoff programs, Microsoft Word, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Planswift, is desirable.
