Job Description

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams on estimating, scheduling, phasing plans, and logistics, particularly for active healthcare campuses
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific codes, infection control requirements (ICRA), and regulatory guidelines
  • Coordinate with hospital stakeholders, design professionals, and internal teams for seamless project execution
  • Manage all phases of procurement, subcontractor management, cost control, and reporting
  • Conduct and lead OAC meetings, fostering client trust and satisfaction
  • Mentor and guide project engineers and assistant project managers, supporting their development
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive solutions on-sit

The Successful Applicant

  • Have 8+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Experience managing healthcare or medical facility projects with a general contractor preferred
  • Be well-versed in healthcare construction standards, ICRA procedures, and AHCA (or similar authority) requirements
  • Hold a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Be a clear communicator and effective leader who excels in managing complex, occupied site environments
  • Bring strong proficiency in construction technology, project scheduling, and field coordination tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
  • Have a client-first mindset and a proactive, solutions-driven approach
