They are proud to be an industry leading, family-owned company that makes work exciting and rewarding.Job DescriptionAnalyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles or processes. May specialize according to particular service preformed.Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists.Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.Consult with vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Attend pre-bid meetings and walk-throughs.Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.Coordinate with projects managers and other relevant company staff.Schedule incoming quotes from subcontractors and material and equipment suppliers, hold turnover meetings on successful bids, and meet bid delivery dates.Other duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
