Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Directing overall delivery of large commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and full lifecycle oversight
  • Developing and managing project budgets; applying strong cost/benefit analysis and value engineering principles throughout the project
  • Overseeing the entire construction process from contract award through project closeout, billing, and warranty execution
  • Maintaining consistent documentation and communication with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Cultivating and strengthening client relationships, managing conflict resolution, and acting as the primary client-facing project lead
  • Providing on-site supervision as needed to ensuring adherence to performance, quality, and safety standards (hybrid role: both site and office presence)
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members; contributing to training efforts around company standards and best practices
  • Leading project meetings and presentations; traveling to job sites as needed
  • Representing the company at industry events, maintaining active involvement in professional organizations
  • Supporting internal DEI initiatives and sustainability goals
  • Developing career paths for direct reports and conducting regular performance reviews

The Successful Applicant

The right Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of direct project management experience in commercial construction, with proficiency in building systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large ground‑up and interiors projects simultaneously.
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client‑relation abilities with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Solid financial acumen: budgeting, accounting, cost controls, and construction cost accounting methodology.
  • Ability to create master detailed schedules; experience with Oracle (OPC) scheduling strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite and Procore.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to maintain focus and high work ethic.
