Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Taking the lead on a particularly large project ($45M) upon starting.
  • Mentoring more junior members of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts and reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager (SPM) should have:

  • Proven experience in construction project management within the business services industry.
  • 8-12+ years of project management experience with a general contractor.
  • Strong tenure at previous employers is appreciated.
  • Large design build project experience in excess of $25M in value.
  • Someone who can hit the ground running.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
