Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead the quality assurance program, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
Manage Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Shop Incident Reports (SIR) systems.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
Support on-time delivery through timely completion of quality assurance documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and operations to document and implement quality plans.
Facilitate training and certification for Nondestructive Testing (NDT) inspections and personnel.
Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce quality issues

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Quality Engineer will have the following:

Quality Standards Knowledge: Proficient in ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance and audits.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of defense contracts, FAR clauses, and military inspections.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach with Six Sigma and root cause corrective action training.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers
