If you are in Syracuse or willing to relocate, please read on and apply to the Senior Quality Engineer role based in Syracuse, NY.Job DescriptionThe Senior Quality Engineer - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and methodologies.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for quality-related issues.Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and defect prevention.Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, etc.).Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques and other quality tools.Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plan development.Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring quality requirements are met.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers and technicians.Generate and analyze quality reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, and company policies.Lead efforts in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Maintain effective documentation, including quality plans, work instructions, and inspection criteria.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
