Their capabilities span both plastics and metals, with a core focus on mission-critical industries that require exceptional quality and precision.Job DescriptionSenior Quality Engineer - Metal Manufacturing will:Oversee and maintain document control systems (physical and digital) for DHRs, change notices, and QMS documentationTrain and mentor Quality Engineers in core quality processes including GD&T, inspection planning, Gage R&R, FMEA, control plans, and capability studiesLead and document root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA/CAR/SCAR), ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820Manage customer complaints from intake through resolution, including escalation to CAPA when neededDevelop and revise inspection procedures and quality documentation in collaboration with Engineering and Document ControlPerform and support various inspection activities including first article, final, and in-process inspectionsReview customer contracts, specifications, and quality agreements to ensure alignment with internal capabilities and standardsLead cross-functional problem-solving activities and statistical analysis effortsConduct and lead Management Reviews in support of the QMSSupervise and develop Quality Technicians and QC staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsRepresent the company during internal/external audits and FDA or ISO inspectionsIdentify and propose quality system improvements, tooling/equipment needs, and support strategic planning with the Quality Manager and Engineering teamBe onsite at our Belmont, NH facilityMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
