Senior Staff - Manufacturing - Chicago

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting requirements
• Collect & analyze data to determine the cost of business activities
• Work with operations, sales, and marketing teams to proactively improve KPIs
• Responsible for key cost accounting duties such as slow and obsolete inventory analysis and the standard cost update
• Provide financial support to the operations team, including cost trends, cost improvement opportunities, and profitability analysis of products, suppliers, programs and special projects
• Partner with operations in managing the capital expenditure plan and overall responsibility for fixed asset accounting
• Ensure that accurate financial records and strong internal controls are in place and being followed
• Assist in preparation of annual operation plan, long range strategic plans, monthly outlooks, quarterly reviews and other special analysis
