Job Description



  • trategic Sourcing for NPD:
    • Lead supplier selection and sourcing strategies for NPD projects, aligning with business objectives.
    • Analyze supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery requirements for new products.


  • Supplier Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster innovation and collaboration.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve optimal value for NPD initiatives.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with R&D, engineering, and marketing teams to understand product specifications and timelines.
    • Act as the procurement lead in cross-functional project teams to meet project milestones and budgets.


  • Cost Management:
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or innovation.
    • Monitor market trends and benchmarks to ensure competitive pricing and supplier performance.


  • Risk Management:
    • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with supplier selection and materials sourcing for new products.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.


  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive process improvements in sourcing and procurement to support agile product development cycles.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the NPD sourcing strategy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on NPD.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with NPD processes, materials sourcing, and industry trends.
    • Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards in the relevant industry.
