Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for electrical components and systems.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze spend data and supplier performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in sourcing projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in strategic sourcing.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, within the industrial manufacturing space.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical components and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.



What's on Offer

The target compensation for the Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst is $85,000 - $105,000 base salary.
