Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Indirect

  Strategic Sourcing:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for indirect spend categories such as IT, marketing, professional services, facilities, and MRO.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, supplier capabilities, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and risk mitigation.

  Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular supplier reviews, including performance evaluations and spend analysis.

  Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in supplier performance.
  • Develop reports and presentations for senior management highlighting sourcing strategies, savings achieved, and future opportunities.
  • Utilize procurement systems and software to track purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance.

  Cost Savings & Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across indirect spend categories through supplier negotiations, consolidation, and process improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, including the use of e-sourcing tools and systems.

  Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
  • Mitigate supplier risk through proper due diligence, risk assessments, and contingency planning.
