If you are looking to join a successful company, with strong values and a collaborative work environment, this is a great opportunity for you!Project Locations: Mainly Columbus AreaFamily oriented cultureSolid leadership out of top general contractorsHands off management approachGreat relationships with subcontractorsStrong pipeline of projects through 2024Project Portfolio: Light Industrial, Healthcare, Hospitality, Multi-Family, Mixed-useJob DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Senior Superintendent include:Assist in the development of the Master Project Schedule.Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completionAttend pre-bid meetings & walk-throughs, as required.Attend trade contractor scope reviews prior to trade award.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.Communicate with project team regarding RFI's and Material Submittals.Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of workCoordinate required inspections with local jurisdictionsIdentify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standardsIdentify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolutionMaintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsiteDevelop strong client relationshipsEnsure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completionAssist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontractsAssist in obtaining permits or approval of revisionsGather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the jobsiteMaintain current OSHA required certifications (30-hour, CPR, scaffold, etc.)MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
