My client is an international professional services firm based in Boston's Seaport. They have around 400 employees and have won multiple awards recognizing their excellent employee satisfaction levels. This role is HYBRID between in-office and REMOTE.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer of this internationally renowned professional services business, the Senior Tax Manager's main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee the year-end tax audit and assessment.
  • Constantly identify, suggest, and execute enhancements to operational processes
  • Guarantee precise and punctual delivery of tax data to the Firm and its Partners
  • Maintain and monitor the status of all tax returns
  • Supervise the tax system and the production of both scheduled and impromptu reports
  • Ensure prompt filings and adherence to both domestic and international tax regulations
  • Reconcile partnership, individual, and miscellaneous tax returns
  • Collaborate with external Audit Divisions regarding specific tax inquiries
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external tax-related deadlines
  • Participate in month/year-end general ledger reconciliation with tax reporting
  • Proactively and efficiently address Partner inquiries concerning tax matters
  • Serve as a mentor and guide for fellow finance and tax professionals.

The Successful Applicant

  • BA/BS degree (essential)
  • CPA (essential)
  • 6+ years of relevant tax experience (essential)
  • Strong partnership tax experience
  • Ability to work in Seaport/ Financial District area (Boston) for 50% of the time (essential)
