The client is a banking association and payments company in the financial sector. They handle 2-3 trillion in value for payment processes per day. This covers nearly the entire GDP of the US every 2 weeks. Opportunity to work with one of the largest payment companies in the United States, must have experience handling confidential information.

Job Description


  • Must be cross functional to collaborate with 5 different teams. Teams include:
  • DevOps team on the infrastructure side
  • Fraud Project - which will involve speaking with Stake Holders for budgeting & deliverables
  • Corporate Systems - currently have 23 systems. They are trying to get it consolidated down to



6 systems(Salesforce, ADP, Ariba)

  • BI/Analytics
  • Web Engineering & Platform Services
  • Must document consistently, and have experience doing architecture review boards
  • Experience speaking with Stake Holders for budgeting & deliverables purposes

The Successful Applicant


  • Database & distributed systems knowledge/experience
  • Distributed systems involve Java Stack(Java and tools based off Java)
  • Java experience(doesn't need to be hands on/coding)
  • Needs to understand Java, and had experienced PMing Java based projects
  • Multi-Cloud experience(AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • AWS is a plus
  • Must have experience with Cloud Platforms and On-Prem
  • Main cloud platform is AWS, but work on Azure/GCP internally as well
  • On-Prem: They have their own databases, which will be relied on if cloud platforms ever go down
  • Infrastructure Knowledge(DevOps)
  • Ex: Kubernetes, Cloud Formation(AWS tool), Terraform, EKS(AWS tool)
  • Not hands on, but able to understand when collaborating with DevOps Engineers internally
  • BI/Analytics experience
  • Web Engineering knowledge
  • Data Practice being built out
  • Experience overseeing Data Engineering projects would be a nice to have(not a must)

What's on Offer

Ability to work for a large established company in the financial sector. Immediate hiring need, with the ability to manage a small project management team. A hybrid scheme with 2-3 days in office per week out of NYC or Winston Salem, NC. The ability to work closely with the CTO and VP of DevOps/Infrastrucure.
