Job Description

  • Billing Strategy & Revenue Analysis: Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client agreements, and analyze billing trends to optimize revenue collection.
  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement revenue reporting strategies, including tracking billable hours, realization rates, and collections. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on financial performance.
  • Elite 3E Management: Lead the utilization and optimization of Elite 3E for billing, reporting, and financial data analysis, ensuring system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Invoice Oversight & Reconciliation: Direct the preparation, review, and submission of invoices in compliance with client guidelines. Identify discrepancies and collaborate with attorneys and clients to resolve billing issues.
  • Data-Driven Process Improvement: Leverage Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.) to enhance billing efficiency, automate reporting, and analyze revenue patterns for strategic decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Compliance: Manage and mentor a team of billing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with legal industry standards and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal billing, finance, or revenue analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in Elite 3E billing system is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) to perform in-depth data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of law firm financial operations, billing structures, and revenue cycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and manage high-level financial reporting.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.
