Located in Brooklyn.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Site Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY:Project Oversight & Management:Lead the daily activities of interior residential construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of interior finishes, including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, paint, trim, and other related tasks.Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, designers, and project managers to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines.Team Coordination:Supervise and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is performed according to contract specifications.Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring that project teams are working efficiently and effectively.Budget and Resource Management:Ensure project is completed within budget by monitoring expenses, addressing cost overruns, and providing timely reports to senior management.Order and track materials and ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including change orders, daily logs, and progress reports.Assist in the preparation of project bids and estimates when necessary.Problem Solving:Proactively identify potential construction issues and provide solutions to mitigate delays and costs.Work closely with the project management team to address client concerns and resolve any issues that arise on the job site.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
