Join a fast-paced Financial Services industry as a Software Engineer. This temporary role in New York requires a dedicated individual with a strong technical background to develop and maintain software solutions. This role is on-site 5x a week and W2 only. No visa sponsorship available.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure software solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure system reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Document software designs, processes, and updates effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance software development practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience min
  • Advanced technical skills in:
    • Python (primary language).
    • Django & Django REST Framework (web application development).
    • Database management (SQL Server, optimization).
  • Familiarity with secure coding principles, SDLC, and change management.
  • Experience in financial services IT systems and control plane architectures for large-scale distributed systems (Nice to have)
  • Additional exposure to Java, Linux, BI tools is a plus.



Language

Mandarin speaking is preferred
