Forward thinking company with a strong portfolio of operating assets, as well as under construction, and in various development stages.Job DescriptionThe Solar, Storage, HV - Project Delivery Director - Remote will have the below responsibilities:Lead all project planning and implementation activities including budgeting, scheduling, contracting of major construction and equipment supplyDevelop project plan, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting for each phase of project execution, including late stage permitting, land control, interconnection, financing, procurement, engineering and construction.Present deep-dive reviews to management team on all business areas.Manage changes with agility and adapt to rapidly evolving industry.Assess the key project risks and opportunities with the goal to limit company's exposure while maintaining progress.Manage day to day project activities to ensure progress as planned.Regular updates of budget and capital needs forecast.Coordinates weekly internal meetings with extended project team.Lead negotiations and contracting of the balance of plant construction contracts.Establish contract compliance tracker for all major agreements.Administer key project contracts including the balance of plant, high voltage, owner supply equipment, offtake and interconnection agreements.Lead claims negotiation under construction and owner furnish equipment contracts.Demonstrate competency with ability or ambition to develop proficiency/expertise in following areas:1. Engineering and Construction - includes but not limited to:Key technical principles that impact the design and operation of a wind, solar, or battery storage power plant.Key risks of construction phase including scope, budget, and schedule.Most impactful development drivers that have impact on construction, financing, and operations.2. Project Finance - includes but not limited to:Managing capital budgets, cash flows, and accounting to effectively communicate financial risks to leadership team.Understanding key concepts and risks associated of raising construction debt and tax equity (covenants, timelines, funding dates, term conversation).Managing relationship with investors Independent Engineer from Financial Close through to COD.3.
