Solar + Storage - Snr. Director, Development - CAISO

The Solar + Storage - Snr. Director, Development - CAISO will ensure projects successfully reach construction commencement. Key activities include managing project development budgets, finding optimal locations for solar and standalone storage, and identifying key project risks and areas of development yet to be completed including permitting, site studies and diligence, interconnection, and land acquisition. Including the following responsibilties:

• Hands-on team leader and project developer.
• Personally develop a pipeline of utility scale solar, energy storage and other renewable energy technologies in the CA market.
• Lead a growing team of project developers.
• Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams including land negotiations, real estate, engineering, permitting, legal and interconnection through construction commencement.
• Support CAISO M&A diligence and development efforts.
• Lead project strategy throughout the entire development process to achieve project & corporate goals.
• Ensure completion of any post-closing covenants or development activities performed by the project Seller.
• Develop and manage project development schedules and budgets.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contract obligations in key project documents.
• Facilitate project discretionary permitting including permit strategy, tracking permit efforts, working with local AHJs, and presenting at permit hearings as needed.
• Coordinate closely with the cross-functional teams across the company.
