Job Description

  • Oversee all phases of ground-up K-12 construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with school districts, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff to maintain alignment on project goals.
  • Conduct and lead on-site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews across multiple Southeast locations.
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Review and approve drawings, submittals, change orders, and RFIs.
  • Track and report project performance metrics to leadership.
  • Support procurement and contract administration with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize risk and delay.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement on every project site.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience managing ground-up K-12 or institutional construction projects
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise crews and subcontractors
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills on active job sites
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast region as needed
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Skilled in reading plans, managing inspections, and ensuring compliance
