As a leader in the food manufacturing industry.Job DescriptionAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and GAAP.Perform general ledger accounting, including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving cost efficiencies and financial performance.Prepare and maintain schedules for fixed assets, inventory, and other accounting functions.Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing input based on financial data analysis.Support in the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.Assist with the preparation and coordination of audits, providing auditors with required documentation and analysis.Ensure accurate tracking of expenses, accruals, and financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial decisions.Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
