As they continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join the team and support their financial operations.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Perform detailed cost accounting, including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide support during audits, ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports.
  • Prepare financial analysis reports to support business decisions and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to ensure accurate costing and financial reporting.
  • Review and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or industrial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
