Job Description

  • Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones.
  • Coordinate and maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including status updates, financial analysis, and risk assessments to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, offering guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project goals.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and create opportunities for repeat business.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continually improve project management processes.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, ideally with commercial and industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
