Description

  • Take strong ownership of the platform design.
  • Identify best-of-breed practices and technologies to integrate with the platform.
  • Lead technical solutioning of operational infrastructure automation.
  • Work with business and product owners to define and focus the scope of the platform product offering.
  • Guide and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Interviewing potential team members

The Successful Applicant

  • You have extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and managing modern automated operational systems.
  • You can demonstrate an understanding of operational considerations at various scale levels - from a greenfield startup to a successful enterprise - and in various industries.
  • You have demonstrated competence in configuring and managing key infrastructure and open source technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes (e.g. vanilla K8S, EKS, GKE, etc.), IaC (e.g Terraform, CloudFormation, Google CDM, Resource Manager, etc.), git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, etc.)
  • You have a track record of successfully finding technical solutions appropriate to business needs.
  • Good coding skills are a must, but a solid understanding of Python scripting specifically is a big plus.
  • Excellent teaming skills - team players only!
