Job Description

This role reports directly into the Engineering Manager and is responsible for:

  • Leading the design and engineering of advanced electrical systems, ensuring compliance with Machine Safety, EMC, and Low Voltage directives.
  • Conducting product design reviews with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective, scalable solutions.
  • Creating and validating panel layouts, schematics, PCBs, and wire run lists using CAD, including documenting BOMs and routing instructions.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues, including noise, transients, servo systems, and multi-axis controllers (e.g., PMAC).
  • Contributing to user manuals and technical documentation to support end-users and technicians.
  • Traveling up to 10% to customer sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Electrical Engineering capacity
  • Machine Control Systems and Precision Manufacturing knowledge a plus
  • Hands on experience strongly preferred
  • Design, review, validation skills for panel layouts, schematics, and PCB boards
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
