They pride themselves on a long-term, employee-focused culture where innovation, quality, and well-being come first.Job DescriptionDrive HR strategy for the manufacturing plant, aligning people programs with operational goals.Lead all employee relations efforts, investigations, policy enforcement, and disciplinary actions.Oversee all HR compliance initiatives and ensure alignment with federal, state, and local labor laws.Collaborate with plant leadership to support talent planning, employee engagement, and succession efforts.Supervise and coach on-site HR staff, including safety program management and compliance tracking.Guide recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.Monitor compensation trends and recommend competitive pay structures and incentive programs.Support learning and development initiatives that promote employee growth and retention.Champion a culture of workplace safety, ethics, and inclusion in line with company values.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant5+ years of progressive HR management experience within a manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws; experience handling sensitive employee relations.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage direct reports and collaborate cross-functionally.Experience supporting hourly and salaried workforces; food/beverage or consumer products a plus.Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly desired.Manufacturing experience required.
