Client is a respectable, nation-wide General Contractor with 1,300+ construction professionals in total. They are seeking a talented, dependable Sr. Project Manager to add to their Seattle team to help build the company up. They have efficient systems in place and a strong book of business, and are looking for a driven individual who can expand the regional team. Focus on commercial construction and position based in Seattle.
Job Description
Construction Sr. Project Manager responsibilities include:
- Manage project documentation
- Assist with building and adding to the regional construction team
- Assist in determining building systems and specifications
- Draft, submit budgets, schedule proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Revision and analysis of project bids and see through to contract award
- Determine and assess the need for staffing and sub-trades, prepare contracts for sub-trades/ consultants including a detailed scope of works and payment schedules
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner and on an ongoing basis
- Assist all Site Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Engineers/Estimators in coordinating with the work of sub-trades and consultants
- Cognitive of budget efficiencies and efficient working practices
- Position based in Seattle

The Successful Applicant
Ideal Sr. Project Manager profile:
- Minimum 7-10 years of related project management experience in commercial construction; minimum of 10-12 years of industry experience
- Demonstrate effective communication and team-building skills
- Be results-focused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction industry
- Be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and has a desire to grow with the Company
- Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and development sites
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, problem-solve, make recommendations for change, implement and evaluate and provide a strong process perspective
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, juggle numerous and diverse activities, organizing and prioritizing appropriately to meet demands and expectations
