MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications. They should possess experience in metal fabrication, particularly with exotic metals, stainless, and mild steel, and be familiar with standard quality control measuring devices like verniers, micrometers, and height gauges. Candidates must work methodically and efficiently, paying attention to detail, and have a strong understanding of the NDT process, including FPI and X-ray. Experience with creating and organizing inspection reports, bubble drawings, and laser lab testing submittals is essential, along with familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 D and AS13100.
