I'm partnered with the CFO at a rapidly growing multi-million dollar, premier service company located near Carol Stream, IL (offering 2 days work from home). Job Description

  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Assist with the annual audit process by providing auditors with requested financial documents
  • Maintain written procedures for assigned duties
  • Increase automation in routine transaction processes
  • Diligent in meeting all processing and reporting deadlines
  • Manages the company's Fixed Asset System including all related journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting and planning of Fixed Asset projects
  • Monthly Fixed Asset Capital Analysis
  • Lead ASC 842 Leasing Implementation
  • Manages Supplier and Vendor Rebate Programs including all journal entries, account reconciliations and maintenance of current contracts
  • Serve as back up Credit Card Administrator
  • Serve as back up for Inventory Accounting

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors' Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • CPA a preferred
  • Fixed Asset and Inventory Accounting Experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and process driven
  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving and implementing corrective actions
  • Good problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Dependable professional with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
