The client specialises in information technology for assent management in multi- site operators. They are experienced in technology to make the work place more efficient and asset management effortless!

Job Description

Responsibilities of the role include>

  • A/R - Manual invoicing, Making deposits, applying credit memos.
  • Applying payments (Credit cards, ETF and checks.
  • Issuing monthly statements and following up with customers regarding collection issues.
  • Manage all accounting operations for A/P.
  • Entering bills in QuickBooks.
  • Check run process of prining and mailing checks.
  • ETF payments (Bank of America Cash Pro).
  • Issuing PO's.
  • BOA - Positive pay.
  • Manage vendor relationship to follow up and communications regarding AP invoices.
  • Management of some aspects of the general ledger including: entering journal entries, Account reconciliations, Ad- hoc General Ledger projects and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will posses the following skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting (preferred) - or Bachelor's in Business with an Accounting minor.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounting experience demonstrating the ability to assume more responsibility as needed.
  • Small company experience preferred.
  • "Self- Starter" personality - comfortable with working independently and with a sense of ownership over all Accounting responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software - (QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
  • Willingness to learn, grow and be challenged.
