With growing business and team oriented culture, the team is looking for a driven individual for this Staff Accountant opening.Job DescriptionReconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy, investigating and resolving discrepancies, particularly in cash reconciliations.Assist with the timely monthly and year-end financial close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.Support the accounts payable function by: Processing and coding invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.Working closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issues or discrepancies.Address accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data.Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account details and trends.Perform other duties and special projects as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
