As a growing company, they are looking to continue expansion and provide high level satisfaction as a 2nd generation business.Job DescriptionAssist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger entries.Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices and ensuring accurate payment tracking.Help with payroll processing and related accounting activities.Assist in the maintenance and tracking of fixed assets and inventory accounts.Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial data analysis as needed.Assist with tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings for local, state, and federal requirements.Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering relevant documentation and data.Prepare and maintain various financial schedules, reports, and records for management review.Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
