The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the daily accounting functions, assisting with month-end close, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP. Job Description

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
  • Support inventory accounting, including COGS and physical inventory counts
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Provide support for audits and tax filings as needed
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate reporting

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-5 years of accounting experience; experience in the CPG or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP system a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
