This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across marketing and media spend.Job DescriptionSourcing Strategy:Develop and execute procurement strategies for marketing and media services, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals.Identify and leverage industry trends and best practices to improve sourcing and procurement processes for marketing and media categories.Supplier Management:Establish, develop, and manage relationships with key suppliers, including advertising agencies, media buying firms, and digital marketing partners.Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, manage negotiations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Cost Optimization:Drive cost savings initiatives through effective negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.Work closely with marketing and finance teams to ensure alignment on budgets, forecasts, and cost management targets.Contract Management:Oversee the end-to-end contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions, minimizing risk to the company.Cross-functional Collaboration:Partner with internal stakeholders, including marketing, finance, and legal teams, to understand their needs and develop procurement solutions.Act as a strategic advisor to marketing leadership, providing insights on market trends, supplier innovations, and cost-saving opportunities.Data Analysis & Reporting:Monitor and analyze spend data, savings performance, and market conditions to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.Risk Management:Identify potential risks within the supplier network and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure all marketing and media procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
