Job Description

  • Lead medium to large-scale strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and document their business needs.
  • Conduct and verify data analysis, transforming insights into category strategy recommendations.
  • Oversee teams in creating project plans and implementing the strategic sourcing strategy.
  • Formulate innovative strategic sourcing methods, utilizing analytics and processes to evaluate scenarios, benefits, risks, and the impact of change management for each option.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit stakeholders, leveraging market intelligence for data-driven prioritization of opportunities.
  • Support the management of supplier relationships and promote ongoing improvements in cost savings, quality, and risk management.
  • Address any escalated questions or concerns regarding strategic sourcing policies, processes, and decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Business administration, International Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, management consulting, advisory or professional services role with a demonstrated track record of results and increasing level of responsibility.
  • Ability to work as part of a global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a high-performing team-oriented environment
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Specific expertise in designated indirect spend categories, as applicable
  • Demonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) software
  • Bilingual, desired. (English / Spanish).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designations desired.
