Job Description

  • Total Site Command: Take full ownership of day-to-day field operations, including site logistics, quality control, and safety compliance from ground-breaking to ribbon-cutting.
  • Schedule Management: create and maintain aggressive 3-week look-ahead schedules to ensure project milestones are hit on time and within budget.
  • Subcontractor Leadership: coordinate and drive subcontractor performance, holding trades accountable for quality and scope while maintaining positive onsite relationships.
  • Safety Champion: Enforce strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols, creating a culture of safety where every worker goes home healthy every day.
  • Client Interface: Serve as the technical face of the project during OAC meetings, providing clear updates to project managers, owners, and architects.
  • Mentorship: Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff, fostering the internal growth mindset that has defined the company's success.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, specifically within the ground-up Multifamily or Senior Living sectors.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) to streamline field reporting and RFI management.
  • Local Knowledge: Ideally possesses existing relationships with Milwaukee-area subcontractors and inspectors to expedite project flow.
  • Client Facing Polish / Communicator: A strong leader who can de-escalate conflicts, motivate diverse teams, and communicate effectively with both laborers and clients alike.
