Job Description

  • Lead all on‑site construction activities for interiors and small commercial projects
  • Coordinate daily subcontractor activities, inspections, logistics, and sequencing
  • Ensure adherence to project schedule, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Review drawings, align field work with project specifications, and assist with problem‑solving
  • Maintain daily reports, documentation, and communication with PM/APM teams
  • Oversee punch‑list completion, closeout, and turnover
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and trade partners
  • Represent the company professionally on active job sites around the Charlotte area

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Charlotte Based Commercial Projects should have:

  • Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a GC
  • Background in small commercial and interiors (corporate, medical office, retail, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple smaller projects or fast‑paced interiors scopes
  • Strong understanding of field sequencing, interior build‑outs, and subcontractor management
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable traveling to sites within 1.5-3 hours of Charlotte
  • Local to the greater Charlotte area (required)
  • No hybrid/remote options - field‑based role
