Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Knoxville

• Direct daily on-site supervision of field labor, subcontractors, and construction personnel.
• Assist Project Manager in overseeing construction efforts, ensuring adherence to design, budget, quality, and schedule.
• Provide technical support (interpret drawings, recommend methods/equipment), including MEP and fire protection.
• Inspect contractor/subcontractor operations for contract compliance.
• Review and approve trade contractor payment applications with Project Manager.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects/engineers, and partners.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan in coordination with Project Manager.
• Implement and maintain Quality Assurance & Control, conducting quality inspections.
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
• Monitor costs, including labor and material.
• Enforce Safety and Health Management Program and promote an Injury-Free Environment.
• Manage schedules, ensuring activities meet or exceed deadlines.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, weather, manpower, and incidents.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and attend project meetings.
• Provide training and support to field superintendents and engineers.
