Job Description

  • Supervise daily on-site construction activities, managing field labor, subcontractors, and site logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution, including budget, schedule, quality control, and technical coordination across trades.
  • Conduct inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor project costs, review subcontractor payments, and maintain accurate documentation through daily reports and meetings.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and team members while mentoring field staff and promoting an injury-free environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Municipal Ground‑Up Projects: Experience delivering public facilities such as community centers, public safety buildings, or administrative buildings; comfortable navigating city permitting, inspections, and public‑sector workflows.
  • Retail Ground‑Up Projects: Successful track record with standalone retail, shopping centers, or big‑box stores; able to manage accelerated schedules, tenant requirements, and brand standards.
  • Hospitality Ground‑Up Projects: Experience constructing hotels, resorts, or extended‑stay properties; strong understanding of FF&E coordination, high‑end finishes, and schedule‑driven opening timelines.
  • Education Ground‑Up Projects: Background in K‑12 or higher‑education construction; familiarity with district requirements, campus safety standards, and phased construction.
