Job Description

Supervise daily on-site construction activities, managing field labor, subcontractors, and site logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution, including budget, schedule, quality control, and technical coordination across trades.
Conduct inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.
Monitor project costs, review subcontractor payments, and maintain accurate documentation through daily reports and meetings.
Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and team members while mentoring field staff and promoting an injury-free environment.

The Successful Applicant

Municipal Ground‑Up Projects: Experience delivering public facilities such as community centers, public safety buildings, or administrative buildings; comfortable navigating city permitting, inspections, and public‑sector workflows.
Retail Ground‑Up Projects: Successful track record with standalone retail, shopping centers, or big‑box stores; able to manage accelerated schedules, tenant requirements, and brand standards.
Hospitality Ground‑Up Projects: Experience constructing hotels, resorts, or extended‑stay properties; strong understanding of FF&E coordination, high‑end finishes, and schedule‑driven opening timelines.
Education Ground‑Up Projects: Background in K‑12 or higher‑education construction; familiarity with district requirements, campus safety standards, and phased construction.
