The Superintendent - Commercial Construction is responsible for oversight of both ground up new construction builds as well as renovation work, depending on the project. They will drive the job site, oversee the subcontractors and self perform labor, communicate with the PM and make sure the job stays on schedule.

Job Description



Superintendent - Commercial Construction will have the following responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all on-site construction activities.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor safety compliance and uphold the commitment to a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Problem-solve on-site challenges with a proactive and collaborative approach.

The Successful Applicant

Superintendent - Commercial Construction will have the following skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial or multifamily construction.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software is a plus.
  • A commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
