My client is a reputable mid sized General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 20+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and healthcare spaces. They are most known for their focus on quality and efficiancy in all aspects of their projects. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work/projects and long-term growth of the organization.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day on-site operations for commercial construction projects in Kansas City.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet client expectations.
  • Oversee on-site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting for stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven expertise in commercial construction, particularly in managing local projects.
  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Ability to handle project schedules, budgets, and resource management efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
