This position requires exceptional leadership skills and a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily on-site construction operations and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets to control costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to address design and construction challenges.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent Commercial & Multifamily Construction should have:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and multifamily construction practices and methodologies.
  • Wood frame multifamily construction experience is preferred.
  • The ability to own and manager the project schedule (P6 preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address construction challenges promptly and efficiently.
